April Bloom Day: The Almost Bloom

Seriously people, this is all I've got. I was so motivated to keep up with bloom day beginning in April and I thought I'd at least have a crocus or something to show, but this is it. Maybe May.

  1. You will have to enjoy the anticipation for a while longer but May will be here before you know it!
Maybe a pot on your lovely new patio would be a good spot for something?!

  2. Oh, I feel your pain! I do have a couple of blooms, but what I'm really waiting for is for the trees and vines and perennials to leaf out. That will be spring.

  3. Like I told Cinj - plant Galanthus elwesii. I've had it blooming in December some years & it always has bloomed by at the very latest March. Hang in there, warmer days are here.

  5. Aw, Gina, even for the Windy City this is pretty distressing weather! I think MMGD is right and as soon as the catalogs arrive order some Snowdrops.

I hope May will be good to you!

  7. Dang, the internet just ate my comment. What I wrote was that at least this was any easy post for you to do. Plant some crocuses and snowdrops and you'll have blooms next April!
