Congrats, Pie Guy!

Disclaimer: This is not an actual Pie Guy Pie
Since I'm pretty sure everybody is tired of hearing about seeds and snow, I thought it might be OK to divert from gardening a bit.

Pie Guy
was accepted to medical school yesterday! GB and were overcome with excitement and decided that it's like our little brother was accepted to med school or something. Our reactions, though both exciting, were quite different. It hit him and she hugged him. I don't know why I do that! Well, I do know. It's because Pie Guy likes to sit through boring meetings holding on to very cool information like "I GOT INTO MED SCHOOL" even though I have told him over and over that these kinds of things require an interruption and immediate notification. He doesn't listen!

Anyway, I could go on and on about Pie Guys greatness - I've been on an emotional roller coaster between "yay, pie guy!" and "I don't want him to move, who will I ask advice from :("

Pie Guy - on behalf of GB and I - we are very proud of you and we love you. And we will really miss you. And I still think you should be a lawyer instead of a doctor but as I've already stated, you don't listen! You will be very successful cuz that's just the kind of (pie) guy you are.

I was amazed to see that when I typed in "pie guy" to find a cute picture from google, my blog came up! Pie Guy is almost famous!

  1. Gina,
We should plant the tallest rhubarb plant we can find in honor of Pie Guy. It's his signature pie!!

  5. GB and Pie Guy - thanks for stopping by! GB, I would plant a rhubarb in his honor if I had a place for it. It's such a space hog!

Worx - yes it was very cool!

wendi - I forgot to mention that Pie Guy's family philosophy is "when in doubt, add cream or butter." I don't think he makes spinach pie. He can pull this off because he's like a thousand feet tall and thin.
