Signs of Spring 2010

It was so nice in Chicago today that I decided to venture out to the garden. Here's some proof that Spring is here!

  2. What you have labeled as cornflower looks like lamb's ear foliage. Cornflower is an annual in zone 5.

  4. Xan - surely your snow is melted by now after the warm weather we've had over the past 24 hours.

    Just add. Yes, the foliage does resemble lamb's ear, but it's cornflower. Cornflower reseeds like crazy if you don't dead head, which I didn't.
