Pretty, pretty! We have a few of the same things blooming right now. Your dahlia photo made me miss having them in my garden---I'll have to remedy that next year :-)
ReplyDeleteI applaud your restraint. I tried going wordless, but that's just impossible for me apparently. I'm guessing that your Phlox are 'Becky Towe' & 'Laura'? Whatever, they look beautiful. I had both white & pink Echinacea, but I can't find the white this year. I like it mixed in with the pink. You've got lots of nice stuff!
ReplyDeletecolleen - I've gotta get over to your (and everybody elses) blog to check out your bloom day photos!
ReplyDeleteMMD - I was wordless out of necessity this time. I was really rushed with this post. The phlox are Laura, Elizabeth and Orange Perfection.
I see a lot of my faves, Gina ; 'Laura' phlox and an orange one as well. We both planted cosmos as annuals this season. And of course we have an abundance of Blackeyed Susans.
ReplyDeleteVery colorful show.
Gorgeous Blooms! It's important to have a balance of beauty and practical isn't it? I need to find more blooms, edible is a plus... :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Gina! Since I can't grow the big Dahlias here, your pictures are a treat. I saw white coneflower at the nursery I visited last week but didn't buy any. Maybe I should go back!
ReplyDeleteVery nice display of blooms, good variety, too.
