This is what I do to get going in the morning these days. Today I started digging up the grass for the bed by the Terminator Rose. I've decided digging up grass is by far my least favorite "gardening" activity. Is that even gardening? Technically it's probably more landscaping/backbreaking/worm uncovering/pregnant-spider-finding/feeling-like-you'll-just-give-up-until-you-can-hire-somebody-to-do-this-for-you, yes?
This is as far as I got today. Tomorrow morning I'll try to finish this so that I can plant the 3 little
Lavender plants that arrived today in the mail. Most of the grass in the area is gone but there is also a row of bricks that are pretty much buried in the ground from a flower bed long ago. Digging up bricks is right up there with digging up grass.
