This is the most colorful harvest I've had yet. It's red onions, lemon cucumber, tomatoes and bush beans.
I love the heirloom lemon cucumber but I wish they were either way bigger or produced 
way more.
They are also like porcupines with little prickly things on them. I'll definitely be growing them again!
Did you grow your lemon cucumber in the ground or in a pot? and if a pot what size would you recommend?

ReplyDeletestacy - thanks for stopping by. they don't taste all that different to me. A very mild flavor, but I'm not sure I'd be able to pick them out in a cucumber taste test.
They look beautiful. I'm still waiting for the Bell Peppers to ripen to yellow.

ReplyDeleteThe prickly things on the cucumbers are one of those things I feel like I never would have known about if I hadn't grown them myself. Washing them and having the prickly things fall off, and eating the cucumbers without wax (like the ones from the store) are just 2 tiny things that amaze me every time! Great color on the harvest, love those red onions!
