If they take advantage of the space like white potatoes, I want to do the same. If they didn't I'll plant in shallow containers.

Thanks!DChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08575848631414135657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864781849969727346.post-19952256270966640072008-07-22T14:42:00.000-07:002008-07-22T14:42:00.000-07:00congrats! that's a sweet potato all right! Over all it's a lovely plant. btw, harvest before the frosts or you will lose the tuber! That was my mistake. I left it in the soil too long and next thing you know, it was rotted, and I live in Southern California where it's warm too!AJKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13805794458934272031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864781849969727346.post-60652064875498446592008-07-22T08:00:00.000-07:002008-07-22T08:00:00.000-07:00I can not tell you how excited I am to try this ne...I can not tell you how excited I am to try this next year!!!! When you wrote that someone left a comment that you couldn't grow sweet potatoes that way I had to Google and see why. Turns out that it's just unlucky that you'll get sweet potato starts with that method, not that it "can't be done."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864781849969727346.post-20121765055333360832008-07-18T17:45:00.000-07:002008-07-18T17:45:00.000-07:00Don't you love it when stuff works!
