I too wasn't raised by "healthy" people (my mom aspired to chem-lawn but we didn't have enough $$)yet I've always been very socially conscious. You've made a wonderful start to a better living.

It's also wonderful to see people thinking also thinking about water conservation and catchments. At http://www.aridsolutionsinc.com/ we actually sell child safe and animal safe rain barrels. We actually have a lot in common---my people are not exactly health nuts either. Everyone in my side of the family smokes, except me. Everyone on my husband's side (except him) is overweight, and there's a history of heart disease that we're trying to avoid on both sides. My mom and grandma fried EVERYTHING---I didn't eat a steamed vegetable until I was married and cooking for myself! You couldn't be more right--making one small change can make you feel so good, you'll be inspired to do more.

Great post!Colleen Vanderlindenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08396040906688814232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864781849969727346.post-50653945082728140122007-10-15T20:53:00.000-07:002007-10-15T20:53:00.000-07:00What a great story of your evolution into a though...What a great story of your evolution into a thoughtful, conscientious, gardening person!
