It does have a nice natural shape but it is really in bad shape. It has spread to over 12 feet wide and takes up aboug 1/2 that garden. Plus, it seems like the center of it is rotted wood. I've been reading about "rejuvinating" shrubs which I think is what I need to do with this one.Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04119471756261855850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864781849969727346.post-70781056143853554312007-06-23T17:10:00.000-07:002007-06-23T17:10:00.000-07:00I agree with Carolyn, probably a spirea of some ki...I agree with Carolyn, probably a spirea of some kind. Keep that weed wacker away from it .

That bush is NOT ugly and if you trim it you'll rob it of it's natural shape as well as next year's flowers. Plant something evergreen on each side of it for balance.

It looks like Spirea Arguta, or Bridal Wreath Spirea. Google it and see if the flowers look the same to you.Sweet Home and Garden Carolinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08026451200405491815noreply@blogger.com
